Any suggestions on fabricating a rotisserie that would screw into the rudder studs? I'm happy with the 2X4 setup on the firewall.

Here is a Fuselage Rotisserie, that I saw looking at a web site on building Highlander. I would build it out of wood. I saw one out of wood somewhere on the Kitfox Forum, but I can’t find it. I was searching for “Rotisserie”.
This guy is a talented builder. He took his highlander and turned it into a SuperSTOL. No easy feat, a significant amount of welding on the fuselage was entailed, adding the landing gear structures.
Tie down strap, 1/4 inch bolt, fender washer, hang it from the rafters.
Mine has to be mobile so I'm doing something like Kebo : His pics from his thread
Here's one I made out of bits and pieces I had laying around.
A harbor freight engine stand works really well, too.
For the tail, make a tongue that clamps to the tail spring mount and goes into the engine stand.
Thanks Gentlemen.
Here are some photos of the one I use on the tail. This was built by Murle Williams and is simple but very handy. Bottom of an office chair for mobility and a rod bearing end welded to the top of a steel pipe. The rod end bearing screws into the lowest rudder attachment hole on your fuselage and allows 90 degree rotation either side from upright. Total height is 33 inches from the ground to center of rod end bolt.
Probably 20 plus Kitfox fuselages have been covered and painted using this tail stand.

Nice simple design. Thanks for providing the measurements and detail about using the lowest rudder attachment hole.
