Having spent quite a bit of time fighting fire in AZ and NM I made a WAG then looked on google earth to confirm it is Sedona.Quote:

Very good TJ....MORE TO COME as my adventures continue!
A few weeks ago I spent some time with with Paul at Stick and Rudder Aviation and I have to say this is the best training and flying I have ever experienced. I learned quite a lot in the 10 hours we spent in 724KA. One morning we flew over to Homedale to meet everyone at Kitfox and see the operation. Most of all I got to see the capability of the Model Seven in a lot of environments. Made a lot of take off's and landings during the time. Now I need to decide which configuration I want to start with on my Seven tail-wheel or Tricycle. Here is a link to some video on my flights if you are interested. Just want to say if you get the chance it's is worth the trip.

Tail wheel Marv, tail wheel;)
I just landed in Santa Fe. I had my Kitfox Coverted from a TriGear to a Tail Dragger. I landed in Cortez Colorado, and Santa Fe, some pretty bad cross winds but safely got it on the ground. Cortez had a 15 mph gusting to 22 cross wind directly across the Runway. The landing was rough, the take off was downright ugly.
Sky Steve's and Paul Z's planes at Ogden Utah. Ho, Ho, Ho, Christmas is coming.
