Re: Where I Fly.
Ross, you inspired the post. I had just watched the video you just posted. The outside air temp is in the upper left of the Efis pic. I saw ground speeds as high as 176. We are in the middle of a cold clear weather snap.
Great to see you flying your new Kitfox. It's fun to follow and watch your progress.

Re: Where I Fly.
Paul, hope you were planning to stay down there a while, 'cause it's been dumping rain up here around your homestead and appears it will continue. (I'm NW of Ft. Worth for Thanksgiving )

Re: Where I Fly.
A group of us flew to the arid Karoo town of Graaff Reinet to watch the Rugby World Cup Semi-Finals with a friend.
In the pictures are: The group overlooking the Valley of Desolation, Dave (Bubi) Hartmann's Super cub, Landing together to shoot the breeze on a remote strip and getting mighty close to some buffalo. A great weekend had by all, and the Kitfox was faster than all except the C182!

I have just uploaded the third of three videos of a flight of three from just South of Sacramento, California to the little town of Hayfork in the Trinity Alps of North Western California. These videos were taken from my first Model IV.

Re: Where I Fly.
Thanks guys. I have about 100 one hour video tapes from my first airplane's camera. Lots of group flights. Just need a little time to do some editing. With that in mind a question for the You Tube video guys. It sometimes takes a couple of days to upload a video. Is that standard or should I look at my computer or possibly my internet service provider? It is a shock to see 2100 minutes remaining for an upload.

Re: Where I Fly.
Lowell,
I usually try to keep videos to 3 or 4 minutes. That seems to be about the max most people will watch. I live in the country and have very S L O W Internet. It usually takes 1 to 1.5 hrs to upload.
