No problem seeing the photos for me. I think what the OP is looking for is where on the welded fuselage cage he can find the SN on an early model.

Nothing on the welded fuselage cage on mine.
Now that is just Bizarre! I can see the pics just fine with my home computer. Wonder if the work computer was blocking the pic?
Pics are there, Steve, but I think Kurt is looking for the fuselage serial number stamped into the tubing from Kitfox.
I thought that number was stamped into the front spar carry through tube, but can't say for sure.
Kurt,
If one looks up the N number on the FAA records the serial number is listed. I think you are in Canada? Have you looked up your registration number to see if it lists your serial number?
The airframe that I am looking at is for sale. I have not bought it yet, the only thing holding me back is confirming that the welded frame is actually a Kitfox and that it is lien free. The current owner purchased it in the states and was in it's current state (striped down for a total rebuild). Yes I am in Canada.
I had a data plate made for mine, and riveted in the "FAA Standard" location of port side, below the horizontal stab. I had your same problem, couldn't find it ANYWHERE, so knowing what it was, I believe I bought it from Aircraft Spruce for 10 bucks or so, and had it engraved at the local trophy shop. Total investment, including rivets and backing plate, MAYBE 20 bucks.
Can anyone help decipher this Kitfox serial number - C0203-0278? I think it's a Lite Squared, but want to be sure.
Thanks in advance.
