does anybody know what resistance spark plug wires should have on a 912UL (80)? I've searched a bit & couldn't find it. Am looking at replacing the wires on all my plugs & some caps. Would also appreciate suggestion as to where I should get them (wire by the foot). I assume that auto part stores would carry something that would do just fine or from NGK direct?

I bought all my wires and caps from NAPA auto parts. The wire was in bulk and I used 7mm. I just cut the wire length to fit, pretty easy to change.

Good to hear that Rotax can be by-passed on some things.
Plse tell me, the caps were the same as Rotax original (VD05FMH)?
And you've been running your 912 on those wires for awhile now, I gather. No problems? What was the brand/specs?
