If you’re a giant, you’ve got a nice handle to pick up the tail of your airplane!
Do you know what it’s covered with and what system? Repairs are straight forward once you know what product you are dealing with. There should even be videos online to walk you through the process.
It's got aluminum reinforcements under the fabric. And I think it's Stits Poly Fiber. I need to get on their web site or youtube to see what their patch procedure is.
Perfect spot for a go Pro mount
I was just in the polyfiber class. It depends a little bit on what the top coat is, but there are instructions in Appendix I of the polyfiber manual. It's not difficult. A polyfiber practice kit will have all you need and then some.
The repair section is Appendix I as was mentioned, page 108 in my Polyfiber Manual.
If it has reenforcing aluminum under it, you could install some rivnuts and screw an aluminum plate over it of you think you ever need to get back in there

That's a great idea! Four screws on each side maybe? Bend it out of one piece with some thin felt between alum and fabric.
