It will be active starting Monday, August 28th, when I hope to launch.
Larry, looks like you have left out. Can you give us your route that you plan on taking?
Day 1: KRRL - Merrill WI to KUBE - Cumberland WI to KMOX - Morris MN to KMBG - Mobridge SD.
5.9 hours flight time, 23.171 gallons mogas/Swift. 3.9 gph average.
Traveling pretty light throttle, 4500-4800 rpm because I'm flying with an Avid mk4 which is an 85-90 mph airplane.
We hope to make Columbus Montana tomorrow where Av8rSed can catch up. There is a TFR between Big Timber and Livingston we need to deal with then it's less hassle the rest of the way in.
Good job, Larry. We've been keeping an eye on ya.
Oh, Oh. Looks like Larry left his wallet or credit card behind and had to go back to retrieve it.
Dang, I hope that is all it is about.
Maybe Larry went back to get AV8r Sed. Looks like Paul's tracker stopped at the same place Larry went back to (MoBridge, S Dakota)
I been watching this also. seems Larry took off after Paul got there. I think you are right, they all met up and left out together and Paul left his plb off.
Hello all. We are all still alive. Here's the story:
Left Mobidge this morning and got as far as Lemon SD where we stopped to allow fog to clear. While waiting we did a more thorough look over of the airplanes and found a crack in the muffler of the Avid. We couldn't find anyone who could help us there, so we backtracked to Mobridge where a shop would repair the muffler. In the mean time Av8rSed caught up to us.
We ate lunch while the muffler was welded, returned to the airport and put the plane back together.
We made it as far as Miles City Montana where we are overnighting in the FBO.
Tomorrow we hope to get to Columbus MT where we will get more informed on getting around the TRF and get to billings where we will turn south down the valley into Idaho.
Glad you are all OK. Saw the turn back and wondered what was up.
Glad it was just a muffler and your back on your way safely. Enjoy.

Parked behind Paul L's house.
My wife, Kris, and I will be heading out tomorrow morning (Friday) from Ogden, UT (KOGD). Fuel in Gooding, ID (KGNG), then hit Pine (1U9), South Prairie (2U0), then Nampa (KMAN) to top off the fuel tanks, then to Greenleaf Air Ranch. Should arrive Noonish to 1:00 PM local.
