703KA after a little factory tweak, a new pair of tennis shoes for her, 8.5 smoothies, and the nose wheel disappeared. Man Kitfox Factory does awesome work! Now I can terrorize some dirt and strips, and not be worried about the nose wheel.
I'll be doing some more training with Stick & Rudder's Preston Riley before I venture out on my own. I hope I do better than I did yesterday in some stiff and variable cross winds. I've got to keep thinking slow her down, slow down, 70 mph on base, 65 down to 60 on final, a little power to get over the fence, slow down, chop the throttle, 60 mph over the numbers, flair, stick back, stick back, hold that damned stick back, she's not a tricycle gear any more.
Wow! That looks great as a taildragger Paul. Should be lots of fun.
Looks great Paul. Ready for more vigorous adventures. Soak up all the knowledge you can from Preston and Stick & Rudder. ;)
Another great example of the versatility of the Kitfox. You can have it BOTH ways.
Looks awesome Paul! Have fun with S&R!
She sees the light, parked in front of the hanger in Homedale.
Parked at KBOI
Not to Hijack Pauls thread.. but thought he would like to see these...
Flexibility of the Kitfox! Have fun and be safe Paul!
Fit for a magazine cover. Again. ;)
That's one beautiful aircraft you built for Mr Zimmerman John. :)
