I've always though that "committing aviation" was one of the most fortunate things I've done in my life, because of the people. What a great fraternity of "brothers" (and sisters) we have!
Flying back from East London on Thursday, a big storm built up and after a couple of attempts at landing at my home field, I diverted to nearby Stutterheim. I Barely got the plane tied down in the lee of a hangar with the control locks on when the storm Hit!!
I am mighty glad I wasn't still in the air!
It was still worrying though.

A friend came and collected me and after a good supper, with his family, he drove me home.
I collected "Foxy Feet" today. Lovely calm autumn weather to fly in....
Got to go for a fly in the Arizona Dessert yesterday. Had a great ride to a dirt strip the locals call Mowtown.
