Any thoughts on getting a MGL radio repaired? The screen intermittently goes blank on my V6. The transmit and receive is not effected. I wonder if it's worth repairing or recipe for disappointment?

Your’s is the first I’ve heard have a problem.
I’m sure MGL would be happy to help solve your issue. MGL has been great to work with so far. The V-6 is what I installed in my 7SS project. Haven’t flown behind it yet but have heard good things so far and will be following your repair experience closely. I also installed their Explorer Lite iEFIS.
Good luck with the repair. Keep us posted.
Yep MGL has great support. Matt is awesome.
I'm installing the MGL V6 as well, so I'm on this like a dog on a bone. Interested to hear the outcome. Keep us posted C-FOXX.
I have a V6 installed with 400hrs on it with no issues at all. Can't really help apart from suggesting to check all wiring connections and the display brightness controls - but I imagine you have already done that, in which case it sounds like an MGL repair job. Good luck.

I have a status report. I shipped the radio to MGL California and in slightly less than four weeks it arrived back at my office. The bill for repair and return shipping was $161.50 USD but I forget how much the shipping too them was. I don't think there is any room to complain over that. That said, patience is not my strong suit so I had ordered a new unit from ACS before I even removed the old one. Now I'm the proud owner of two working radios instead of one broken radio.
