Is the large round lake a meteor crater?

This lake is a vulcan in our Eifel mountain range. At the bottoom of the lake is an Halifax-Bomber and may be a second airplane from WW2. The Halifax-Bomber was checked 2008 by divers, individual fragments of the machine have been recovered, the wreck itself or bombs wasn't found.

Nice videos. As a teenager I spent sometime in Krefeld. I saw you posted a video over it.
There was a Halifax Bomber at the bottom of a lake in Norway. In 1995 it was brought up and shipped to Canada where it was restored in 2005.

Yes, it's a lot of work to cut the scene's, merge it, provide subtitles and edit the video with useful music but I enjoy it to show the viewers our little nice landscape. I think, only one camera let it be boring, I try to use more perspectives to give them more variety.
I like your Idaho Backcountry Flying (Wilson Bar, Cabin Creek, James Ranch, Vines). I think it will be fantastic for flying.

we have altitudelimits in germany and it's allowed to land at airports or airstrips only.
For this reason, it could be a highlight to have a deep approach, a few feet above a highway or forest like this in germany.

I remember flying VFR in the UK where we would fly at a lower altitude and maintained radio contact with an air traffic controller and this was in uncontrolled air space. I had moved from Texas where you can depart and land at a non towered airport fly in uncontrolled air space and never talk to air traffic controller. This was a big change for me.

The following airstrip is located on the top of a hill (Mount Royal), surrounded by a river.
Nice approach and nice town I think, but the controller was a bit crazy about controlling traffic ;-)
