Trailering... Tie Down on the trailer
While the grass grows on my new runway, I've got to tow my KF IV 10 miles to the airfield. I've got a nice converted boat trailer, and I'm comfortable with the security of the rear "tie down" using the rear lower fuselage carry through tubes. However, I have not yet found secure tie down points on the front of the plane. I don't want to run straps across the landing gear, and there are no good/secure places to put a hook through.
Any advice?
Cheers,
Ackselle

Re: Trailering... Tie Down on the trailer
I used tie down straps through the float fittings the first few times but that did't hold it in place very well. They kept loosening up.
Then I made these out of some longer retchet straps.
