Correct assembly
I can't figure out the correct way to assemble my front wheel and tube. There are two nuts and a washer, the stem is threaded at the tube. My question is does the washer go on the inside of the wheel or on the outside? What is the second nut used for? Here is a picture.

Re: Correct assembly
Marv- I'll try to get out to my hangar today and take a look at mine. Maybe get you a couple photos.
Great visiting with you at CopperState.
Congrats on the model 7. It looks great.:)

Re: Correct assembly
Marv- I looked at my nose wheel and see no indication of nuts or washers holding the valve stem in place. We may have different wheels after all.
I looked at one in Phil's hangar yesterday and didn't see those either.

Re: Correct assembly
Marv...The second nut (the thin one) is used as a lock nut on back o fthe metal tire stem caps....
If you don't get an answer on the washer soon - I'll check mine the next time I am out at the hangar - probably be a day or two...I think I have the same assembly you have.

Re: Correct assembly
Hi Marv,
Got the photos......I no longer have the instructions that came with the nosewheel tube; but, here is how my nosewheel/tire/tube was assembled. Second photo shows the washer fairly well.
The washer is on the outside, raised side up, with the thick nut screwed onto the stem at that point.
The thin nut is ued as a back lock nut on the metal stem cap.
Sincerely,
