Re: Where I Fly.
Link to youtube video of Monday morning flight. Left Indian Hills Airpark with 6 aircraft. Landed Wayside for breakfast then a flight over the lake and dam then down the canyon. Couldn't catch up quite quick enough to catch the Sportsman 2 with huge tires "water skiing" on the glassy water ahead of me.
Alamo Lake and canyon flight.

Re: Where I Fly.
I like that idea of holes along the front edge of the glare shield to act as a defroster. Very simple and probably effective.

Re: Where I Fly.
Looks like winter is here. I flew over to DLS from Oregon City to meet up with another Kitfox. I flew down the Columbia River Gorge then back direct over the Cascades next to Mt Hood.
As you can see the snow pack is starting early this year.

On the way back I averaged 165 mph ground speed. Wish I could always find this kind of tailwind!

Re: Where I Fly.
Looks great Scott - beautiful clear (and cold ? day). WE are in summer here but had a cold snap today - it was 1c when flying - Coolant temps were a bit low - must remember to tape up radiator like you cold climate people!
Again, wonderful pics - you really use your Kitfox!
