  1. Thanks for the message. What I understand the "only" major difference between 5 and 7 is the 7 can be either tail dragger or try-gear, while the Vixen is try-gear only. While I would like to do some mountain flying around North Carolina, I'm thinking the fields wouldn't be to bad for a trip-gear...thanks for the comments.

    I priced everything out on the project I bought. It has several upgrades too. Did not have an engine or FWF kit. I paid less then half what it would have been if I bought a kit from the factory with the options. Mine is a SS-7, I don't think there's much different between a 5 and a 7. Good Luck.
