I really like the Grove gear. It is wide, strong yet forgiving and I think it makes my plane look good. My Grove gear is gun drilled so the brake lines screw into the cross bar under the plane, then they screw in at the bottom next to the wheels. I like that a lot as there is no brake line to catch in the weeds. I also purchased Grove brakes and wheels. All good stuff.

was wondering if all the brake and wheel parts fit the grove gear ,or did you have to buy extra.

Sorry I didn't see this b-4 now. The last time I checked (2 years ago) the waiting list was 7 years, however, I know the city built more hangers since then. Call the business office at 480-644-2450. They will have the up-to -date ifo. Are you making a move down here or more of a snow-bird move for the winter?

Man, I have no idea. I know I way overpaid for mine at $20,000, but it had the 912, a lot of nice mods and it has history being it was Dan Denney's personal plane and the fist factory demo. I don't know of any other model I's in my area.

    Hi SkySteve
Thanks for your info regarding model I or II. So by the way, do you know the price for a model I with the Rotax two stroke in your part of the world? This model I is now in Denmark.

Steve. My issue with this foreigner is not your business. I didnt post anything on here. He did. So the first blood is drawn. It wasnt my intentions to put crap all over this site like he did. You need to view my last post and i will never post on here again if that makes you happy. This guy will have federal charges on him soon so if that makes you happy then GREAT!

I've only done it twice. It takes about an hour for the conversion. I've found I can land just about anywhere I want (even where there is no runway) with the trigear and it is soooooo much easier to see and taxi from the trigear. My bird will land slow (35mph) and it is easy to hold the nose up in the air until I want to set it down.
