    Hi Rob,
Sorry I didn't check my messages until now. I trimmed the doors to fit and used 6-32 screws to attach bubble doors to the original aluminum door frames. The two middle curved tubes of the door frame do not touch the bubble door as the bubble is curved out more than the frame. They make great handles to close the door. I can get some better pictures if you need them. Nice to hear from you!

Hi Dan, do you have a picture to show how the bubble doors fit to the middle of the door. Thanks Rob (ausfox)

    Dan,

Is your nosegear strut (the one you have now) the same as the later models? I see in some of your pictures your plane has the thin round tube nose gear strut and in one or two it shows the streamlined (internally reinforced) version. I assume the one that got broken was the thinner one. I still have to solve my crack issue somehow. Your KF sure is cute. Skot

Sounds like it's working well. I'm not going to OSH this year unfortunately. I wish I was. Probably going next year.

Let me know how that prop works. I'm really curious to see how it performs.

No I haven't yet. I would sure like to though. I've been so busy at work I haven't had much time to do anything with mine lately. Finally was home long enough to go to fly in this weekend. If I do get one I'll be sure to let you know.

Hi WISDAN, I'm wondering about you KF-4 cowling for the Jabiru 2200. I installed a 2200 on my Model 4 Speedster. Your cowling install looks much nicer. Thanks, Chip

Is that 2900 in level flight at full throttle? I can almost get 3300 at full throttle and level flight. Static rpm on the ground I get around 2850.

Mine is a GT wood prop 62x39 according to their numbers. I average 800-1000 fpm climb. More if it's cold out. Cruise is 98 mph and I usually cruise 2950-3000 rpm. I would like to get a Prince propeller.
