  28. shade tree mechanic
  29. no room in the garage & too hot in the sun
  30. rigging the wings, only took 5 hours of leveling & measuring to drill 6 holes
  31. Fitting the bottom cowling. Knew those boxes would be useful for something.
  32. Templates for the cowling jig.
  33. Working on the wiring.
  34. Firewall and engine mount temporarily installed.
  35. Trial fitting of firewall.
  36. Fake engine jig for fitting the cowling. Looks like a turbine to me.
  37. Another panel shot.
  38. Cargo area.
  39. Spent way to much time deciding how to proceed with the cargo area. Finally decided against the Kitfox baggage kit and made my own.
  40. Instruments installed.
  41. Very basic panel with plenty of room for future upgrades. Grand Rapids Technologies EIS made more sense than lots of engine instruments everywhere.
  42. Accessory tray in rear fuselage. Need the weight in the rear because of 0-200 Continental.
  43. Getting a little sun. And confusing the neighbors.
  44. Wing assembled and ready for rigging to the fuselage.
  45. Instrument panel cut out and trial fit.
  46. Used adell clamps to secure the seat pan.
  47. Spar inserts going into the spar.
  48. Wing being assembled. This was an enjoyable process, but I should have bought the prebuilt wing assembly. Will save several hours of labor.
  49. A little stick time always motivates.
  50. Side stringers installed.
  51. Door frame assembly. Can never have too many clamps.
  52. Rudder pedal assembly made me cuss. Patience and persistence will yield results, eventually.
  53. Vertical stab and rudder assembly.
  54. Tail post and rudder fairing installed.
  55. Lots of push rods and turnbuckles.
  56. Control assembly trial fitting.
  57. Center console. Should have purchased the prefab kit!! Lot's of time in those brackets.
  58. Humble beginnings. Kitfox did a great job with packing.
  59. Horizontal stab ready to start.
  60. Floorboard assembly
