Hello and welcome to TeamKitfox.com! TeamKitfox.com is an online community for those interested in Kitfox aircraft and all related issues. It's for builders, pilots, owners, and anyone who's simply interested in the Kitfox. The centerpiece of the site is an online forum where information can be exchanged, stored, and searched complete with pictures — a community that exists online.
Who am I and why am I doing this? After building and flying two Van's RVs I became interested in the Kitfox Super Sport as my next aircraft project. In researching the Kitfox I quickly realized that there wasn't yet a robust central online community as there was for other aircraft types. As an RV builder I'd learned how valuable this can be and so decided to set this site up. TeamKitfox.com will be operated with the support and endorsement of the Kitfox factory. John and Debra McBean, owners of Kitfox Aircraft LLC. Kitfox Aircraft staff will monitor the forums as time allows and provide input where they can. Yes, this site will accept advertising, but only from companies who supply products for the Kitfox. None of us like commercials, but by accepting ads we accomplish two things: 1) users become aware of vendors providing products for the Kitfox, and 2) by accepting advertising I can get the cost of the site covered and enable it to remain a FREE site for the users. No hidden agenda, those are my goals.
Lastly, you have my pledge that TeamKitfox.com will grow and evolve continually over time. Features and information will be added as members let me know what they want to see. I hope you find it interesting and useful!
